CBC Ottawa's 2007 Share Central a huge succes
CBC Radio in Ottawa celebrated a full week of charitable giving to local charities with its 2007 Share Central event. This year's charities were Pathways to Education, The Ottawa Food Bank, Shepherds of Good Hope, Youville Centre and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
The week culminated with a special broadcast of Ontario Today and All in a Day from Carlingwood Mall on Friday, December 14.
The All in a Day broadcast featured interviews with staff and participants of the Pathways program, including a Grade 9 quiz with the program's host, Adrian Harewood.
Over $32,000 was raised for all participating charities.
