Pathways to Education Canada is thrilled to announce the appointment of Subagini Sivapatham as the organization’s inaugural Chief Impact Officer (CiMO).
This visionary new role was created as part of President and CEO Tracey Taylor-O’Reilly’s ambitious new plan to maximize impact at Pathways—including the organization’s ongoing efforts to expand and evolve the existing Pathways Program to address the changing needs of students.
After an extensive search, Subagini was appointed based on her entrepreneurial vision and deep-rooted commitment to community engagement and impact. She brings over two decades of non-profit leadership experience in organizational strategy through impact-programming, brand building, integrated marketing, client experience, and business development.
Prior to joining Pathways, Subagini served as Vice-President, Community Experience at Artscape, where she contributed to the design and delivery of programs and services that promoted creativity and cultural space development.
Subagini has a proven track record of supporting equity-seeking communities aligned with Pathways’ mission, having previously held leadership roles at non-profit organizations including Futurpreneur Canada and the Newcomer Centre of Peel. She also served on the Advisory Board for both the Women’s Economic Council and the Access Employment Entrepreneurship Program, and is the current Co-Chair on the Board of Directors for Applaud—a membership association that recognizes its member’s contributions in public service.
In her role as Chief Impact Officer at Pathways, Subagini will drive the organization’s impact through programming and research efforts. Working alongside Pathways’ community partners, this work will inform enhancements to the core Pathways Program and drive innovation in program delivery— empowering more students across the country to overcome the increasingly complex barriers they face and equipping them with the skills and competencies they need to achieve long-term success.
