Pathways to Education Canada is thrilled to announce the appointment of Firoozeh Radjai as the organization’s new Chief Development Officer.

Firoozeh brings almost three decades of experience in the development, implementation, and management of successful fundraising and marketing campaigns. She also has broad cross-sectoral consultancy experience, having worked alongside non-profits, advocacy groups, and unions to help them become more effective in their work to create positive impact in local, national, and global communities.

Throughout her career, Firoozeh has been passionate about social justice and committed to advancing gender, racial, cultural, and socioeconomic equity. Before joining Pathways, she served as the Director of Philanthropy at YWCA Toronto, Ontario’s largest multi-service women’s organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, girls, and gender diverse people. She also held previous leadership positions at Stratcom, an award-winning fundraising, research and communications consulting agency exclusively working for the non-profit sector, as well as at prominent charities including Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth and Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre.

In her new role at Pathways, Firoozeh will lead public and private resource development activities to strategically grow the organization’s revenue base. This work will provide the critical resources necessary to support long-term organizational sustainability and help the award-winning Pathways Program reach more students living in low-income communities across Canada.

Firoozeh officially assumes the role on October 15, ready to collaborate with existing Pathways leadership to fuel the organization’s mission to break the cycle of poverty through education.
