Make a difference in the lives of young people by joining our dedicated team of Pathways volunteers.

Pathways to Education is committed to keeping community members, including volunteers, safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to follow public health recommendations and direction from all levels of government. Virtual volunteering is available for most volunteer roles and volunteer candidates will be appropriately oriented for virtual volunteering experiences.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Tutoring

Tutoring high school students in small groups or one-on-one
Tutoring high school students in one of the core subjects (i.e., Math, English, Science, Geography, Social Sciences)
At least one night a week in the evenings, after-school hours during the school year

Mentoring

Providing support to high school students through participation in inclusive and engaging mentoring group activities
Work with other mentors in groups of 10–15 students
One night every other week in the evening, after-school hours during the school year
